So after I got engaged I lost my mind to the machine of marriage. It ripped out my brain and trained it to focus on the one day of my life that would transform me as a person and my name forever. I have finally become a wife and now things are normal and they'll never be the same again. It's strange but I feel like I've grown up a little in the process. I'm trying to get back to my artistic roots but the buying of the house has brought to my life a whole new slew of terrible tortures that I must endure on a daily basis. The laundry of a family alone is enough to keep me busy and unseen until the end of my days. As it is, I'm climbing the pile into daylight now just to type this.

I hope to get back in photography at least and hopefully the poetry will follow photography back to me. I feel like I have said nothing of importance except "I do" in the past year. My life is a train and it's running off the tracks into something cold and dark. I feel like I need to see the light again.
